As of June 8, 2015, the NYC Department of Education is offering parents a new way to access key information about your child’s progress in school, in one of ten languages on a computer, phone or tablet:

Through a
NYC Schools account, parents and guardians can see the following:

  • Attendance Records: View your child’s attendance for the current school year, including the number of days he or she was late or absent.
  • Grades: View your child’s report card grades and any teacher comments for each marking period in the current school year.
  • Student Profile: View the contact information on file at your school for your child

Please contact P.S. 173Q Parent Coordinator Jean Mendler (, 347-563-4513)
for more information, and to apply for a NYC Schools login.
