Welcome back to P.S. 173 Fresh Meadows for the upcoming school year! I hope this letter finds you refreshed and looking forward to the exciting year ahead. Whether you are new to our school community or a returning family, we are thrilled to have you with us.

As we prepare for the new academic year, our commitment to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment remains unwavering. We are dedicated to fostering a culture where every child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

This year, we will continue to focus on academic excellence, character development, and individual growth. Our dedicated faculty and staff are committed to providing enriching educational experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.

I encourage you to stay informed and engaged in your child’s education by attending school events, volunteering when possible, and communicating regularly with teachers and staff. Your involvement plays a crucial role in the success of our students and our school community as a whole.

Please mark your calendars for the first day of school on September 5^th , 2024, and Virtual Back to School Curriculum Night on September 12, 2024, from 4:30pm to 7:30pm.  Should you have any questions or concerns throughout the year, please do not hesitate to reach out to our administrative team.
